When you shop with Republeek, we collect: Name, phone number, email address, delivery address, and payment information. All payment details are processed securely by Paystack. Republeek never sees or stores your card details.

2. How do we use your personal information?

We use the personal information we collect only for the following purposes:

• To process, confirm, and deliver your Republeek orders
• To send you order updates, invoices, and delivery notifications via WhatsApp, Email, or SMS
• To improve our website, products, and customer experience
• To comply with legal and tax obligations in Nigeria
• To communicate marketing offers, if you have given consent

3. Who do we share your personal information with?

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We only share it when necessary:

• a) With delivery partners: Courier companies that deliver your Republeek items. We share only your name, phone number, and delivery address for successful delivery.
• b) With service providers: Companies that help us operate our website, send order emails/SMS, or manage customer service on our behalf.
• c) With banks or online payment services: Paystack processes your payment securely. We receive only payment confirmation, not your card details.
• d) For fraud prevention: Paystack and security tools may analyze transaction data to prevent fraud, to the extent necessary.
• e) Subject to your consent: With business partners for events, promotions, or collaborations you choose to join with Republeek.

4. Retention period

We keep your personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill your order and meet legal obligations. Order and transaction records are retained for 5 years to comply with Nigerian tax laws. Marketing and newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe or request deletion.

5. Your rights

You have rights over your personal information. You may request that Republeek:

• Correct, amend, or erase any information which is incomplete, out of date, or inaccurate.
• Delete your personal information if: (i) it is no longer necessary for the purpose, (ii) you withdraw consent, (iii) you object to processing, (iv) processing is unlawful, or (v) we must erase it to comply with legal obligations. Republeek will take reasonable steps to inform delivery partners and Paystack of such erasure.
• Access your personal information we maintain about you. If you request access, we will provide details on the purposes of processing, categories of data, categories of recipients, and retention period.
• Withdraw consent at any time for marketing communications. This does not affect orders already processed based on consent before withdrawal.
